This is a drawing in Indian ink lightly washed with watercolour on cartridge paper. It is quite old as the date at the bottom will show you. I did this sketch in the garden of Alison House at Cromford, Derbyshire when I was attending a painting holiday there. It turned up when I was searching through my piles of work and I felt it would serve as an example of my plein air work.
