Flames of Remembrance

There's a great deal to see in this - and I wish I could read Hebrew and appreciate the poem; I can manage Yiddish, but only if it's written in Roman characters.... one of the things I'd love to learn if only I had the time; unfortunately, one needs another lifetime or two......

The Hebrew is not from my friend's poem, but selected text from the Kaddish, which is recited at funerals & certain points in Shabbat services. Altho, it's not a prayer for the dead, but a prayer for the living & of expectation that the God of Israel will raise His faithful after death to new life with Him. The painting is an illustration of my friend's poem, but intended as a stand-alone piece. I'm about to post the finished piece, so you can read more about it.
