And you have kept it loose Sharon, what an interesting subject and so well captured, that sky wash is a beauty.

Agree and lovely techniques Sharon

Lovely painting, Sharon.

Not a building that shouts at you as being paint worthy and yet you have done such a super job of it - Well done sharon.

A lovely calm and sunny scene Sharon.

Even the uglies have their charm when mixed. I like this a lot Sharon, the water especially

Love the dark roof against the Silo Sharon, a charachterful painting.

Cheers Alan, Dennis, Cesare, Michael, Sarah, Derek and Fiona - thanks for taking a closer look and leaving your comments. So nice to share one's efforts with others going through similar painting experiences, decision-making, doubts, experiments etc..

Used a 1,5 inch flat in an attempt to stay loose. Painted on site a couple of weeks ago, when the sky really was still this colour. Lovely autumn sunshine, even the grain silo looked beautiful in the sunlight. Watercolour on Hahnemuehle Cezanne 300gsm NOT 41x53cms. PS: First time I have used this paper (100 percent cotton), I was very impressed.
