Watercolor on Fabriano Hot-Pressed Paper. Cormorants at Man Sagar Lake, on which the Jal Mahal ("Water Palace") was built, in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. During migration season, numerous species of migratory birds can be found on the lake. However, the cormorants are resident birds and do not leave the lake when the migratory season ends. Wishing everyone on POL a very happy new year!
