A lovely, lovely watercolour, Seok.

I must return to watercolours and practice, practice, practice....you give me so much inspiration just by looking at your galleries. Another lovely painting. Well done.

Stunning watercolour Seok, it is so lovely, nice colours and composition

love the colours - so light but still with the right tones, not easy as I am finding out slowly !

Thank you for the kind comment on my 'rooftop' painting , it is a wonderful place to visit. This is a beautiful painting Seok. You make a simple everyday scene look so wonderful. Lovely delicate colours too. Well done to you .

Your paintings are always fascinating! Such interesting scenes full of information!

Very atmospheric, Seok and great treatment of the background, just hinting at all the colours and activity.

Another lovely watercolour, Seok, to add to your fascinating gallery. This travelogue series looks as if it is heading for publication........ the watercolours plus a little descriptive text of where and when.

Brilliant watercolour Seok......!!

It's all been said above - another great piece

Lovely vignette of life in that part of the world. Your paintings always show me something that I have never seen before and they are always so perfectly and beautifully painted - a joy to see. Super work.

Its a loose great painting I love the way theres alot going on but its not over done!:)LInda

Your watercolours are just beautiful and so full of interest Seok, always a pleasure to view them. Thank you so much for your comments on my paintings.

Thank you so very much, everyone! Your very kind comments are truly appreciated, especially since this one was actually destined for the bin! I wanted to try the obligatory village scene at which a lot of artists in the South East Asian region excel, but admit that while it was an interesting experience, the painting and the subject don't really appeal to me. I found it a bit too gritty dor my taste. I think I will return to the magnificent ruins of Egypt, the rolling plains of Africa and the States and the pomp and splendor of the Indian Raj after this! Very clearly a case of being captivated by the wildly exotic - a bit shallow on my part, I admit!

Only just found this - is it done from first hand knowledge of the country ? I only ask as my wife is from Burma. A lovely atmospheric piece and could only be one of yours.

Thank you very much, Michael. Yes, I visited Myanmar last year and it was one of the best trips I took for a long time. It is a beautiful country and the people were lovely. It's a pity the regime made it such an international pariah because Myanmar is one of the best kept travel secrets ever and the Myanmar people are their best assets.

Another beauty to add to your collection of other superb work. I particularly like the folds in the lady's robe and the slices of watermelon.

Very attractive painting as always Seok. Love your figures.

Thank you very much, Sarah and Carole!
