I had just logged out when you posted this little gem Seok , its lovely, your use of colour in the costumes and suggestion of movement is marvellous, so I just had to log on again to comment : )

Thank you so very much, William! I appreciate your making the time and energy and you really do wonders for my ego! -:)

Sooo beautiful, Seok. Painting the people in the foreground gives us an idea of the proportions.I also like the way you faded out the painting, not filling the page completely. It draws the attention immediately to the focal point! Perfect!!!

Another little gem! Ever thought of having your "travels" printed in a book ? Beautiful work.

Beautiful watercolour with just the right amount of colour to bring it alive

I agree with the above comments, beautiful

Another super painting.!

Another wonderful addition to your travelogues, like Avril says you should have a book printed of them.

It's a lovely watercolour and I like, Mia think the people in front of the ruins makes us see how large the building really is.The colours and shadows lets us see just how hot it is there too.

Thank you very much, everyone! Avril and Val - A lovely thought. Perhaps when I am a little more experienced (and hopefully much improved), I might think of getting a book out. I was very fortunate in that, when I first started out painting, the law firm in which I worked used some of my paintings for their annual calendars and diaries for their clients. I've continued that on my own since then, so now, at the end of each year, I print a personal calendar with my paintings done during that year, which I send to friends. I find it's a useful way to keep them informed of what I'd been doing. It also serves as a travelogue of sorts.

I love the delicate stone colours offset with those wonderful colourful figures.

Lovely 'snapshot' of your travels. I particularly like the way you have loosely depicted the people so as not to detract from the magnificence of the columns. Lovely sandy and hot colours as well which set the atmosphere.

Unmistakabley you! Another fantastic, atmospheric picture Seok. What do you do with them all?

Thank you very much, Carole, Thea and Amanda! Amanda, have to admit that I am still very much a hobby painter and don't really want to sell any of my stuff, so I have been hoarding all my years of work! The watercolors are easy - I store them in acid free portfolios, but I am running out of space for the oils!

If you keep painting at this standard Seok by the time you do sell them you will make an absolute fortune! :)

Wonderful watercolour everythings right. A definite feel of Chamberlain the figure disappearing into the ground absolute magic.

Thank you very much, Amanda and John!
