Wonderful and very yummy!

Lots to look at and beautifully painted Seok.

Goodness, there’s some work gone into this Seok, delightful in all respects!

A really good painting and done so beautifully with lots to look at.

Like this alot. Lovely composition.

This is amazing Seaok. Love all the interesting features and it really tells a story. The figures are all so occupied and those foreground tiles are perfect.

A wonderful piece of nostalgia beautifully painted seok. Is that Swiss roll and Victoria sponge I see in the cabinet?!

Beautifully depicted and an interesting story too. Just love it !

Capturing a moment and I' d definitely sample some of those, Seok.

Terrific painting Seok, love your style and such an interesting piece.

Fantastic painting Seok, I can smell the pastries!

A wonderful story, composition and painting Seok with great detail and interest. I even like your signature!

Thank you very much, everyone, for your very kind comments!

Love the style and composition of this, the chap on the right hand side really brings it all to life.

Thanks so very much, Fred! And Fiona, yes, all the traditional British goodies crammed in this wonderful bakery. Very nostalgic for me, as they were straight out of my childhood in Singapore as well.

Great story, and lots of interesting detail for my eyes to take in.

Thank you for sharing your memories Seok. I have the same kind of feeling when I step through the door of a Herbalist shop. My dad would take me in to the Apothecary when I was a child and he would fill a paper bag with coltsfoot sticks, twisted barleysugar canes, liquorice root, locust beans and all kinds of goodies! Still can’t resist filling a paper bag…….

Thank you, Anne, Romila and Maureen! And such lovely memories, Fiona!

Ink and Wash on Arches Cold-Pressed Paper. A lovely century-old restaurant and bakery in Darjeeling, India, selling the wonderful pies and pastries that hark back to the days of the British Raj.
