Small tug in Sunlight by Michael Daley
16 x 20 ins on mdf. A lesson in "not being hasty". I had a varnishing day 10 days or so ago. I did 7 paintings and had some varnish left. I grabbed this one and varnished it. Bad move! I hadn't finished it - how dumb can one get? It took me a week to realise this and another two days to remove the varnish, clean it thoroughly ready for repainting. Happily I also notice some errors and amendments that were needed. So this is really, really the finished article.
