Beautiful sentiment Satu the aged are ignored today in our society superb

Sensitive and thoughtful Satu, the downward cast of his shoulders suggests an air of loneliness/sadness as you described. The colours are gorgeous.

Fantastic Satu...he does look lonely but somehow more able to soak up the art?

Interesting subject well painted, Satu.

Love it Satu, absolutely gorgeous. What size fingers do you use!!!

Lovely fluid movement Satu.

A thoughtful moment captured for you Satu. Lovely loose look.

Excellent composition too Satu.

How encouraging and humbling is that, and this is painted with compassion, really interesting piece Satu.

You are all so kind with your comments. Thank you Dennis, Fiona, Sarah, Cesare, George, Michael, Carole, Marjorie and Alan. George, I've got five different sized fingers, a lot to choose from! LOL

Thank you very much Gudrun!

This is just lovely and great technique too.

Lovely painting Satu and enhanced by the lovely story, you'll be in trouble though wandering around photographing menha ha lol. Wonderful

Lovely, sensitive piece Satu.

Lovely painting, lovely story Satu.

Thank you so much Michael, Dennis, Stephen and Christine for your lovely comments. Very much appreciated. Dennis, you will come and visit me in prison if I get in trouble, won't you?

Captured his solitude and tiredness very well Satu in a lovely loose style and technique. Bit like the deaf bloke behind me at a BSO concert in Poole last night.

A strangely touching painting - and also proof that you don't need to paint in intricate detail (but that doesn't mean you shouldn't!).

Many thanks Derek and Robert.

This is just superlative work, Satu! There's so much atmosphere and spontaneity in this piece, and I absolutely love this style. Finger painting at its best, for sure!

Excellent as always Satu.

Thank you very much Seok and Sarah.

A couple of weeks ago I visited an art gallery in London and saw this gentleman sitting on a bench having a rest. He looked so lovely and a bit lonely so I took a photo and here he is. This is mainly a finger painting because I wanted it to be very loose and dreamlike. The gentleman had a white stick so he must be nearly blind but still wanted to enjoy art. Bless him.
