A truly fantastic painting, love the subject. Different as most boat scenes are painted outside or on the water, great to see something different.

Lovely subject and painting Paul. I feel the history and atmosphere of the place which obviously attracted you. The limited palette is very effective and those little additions of colour on the boats are really good.

Palette Knife oil painting canvas 33" x 24"with limited palette. I visited this site where 5 generations of the same family have built boats on the Isle of Grimsay in the Outer Hebrides. I knew straight away that i had to paint it. My intention is paint three different views of the interior.
