This is much more than a reasonable effort Paul! The elephants are superb and the water reflections are also superb. I love it.

Fabulous I love African Elephants. I see you live in Gods own country..

Superb painting Paul.

Lovely work Paul. The water looks skilfully effortless, but you tell us it took 3 attempts. We'd never know.

There’s a lot of work here Paul with such a group. Really well done!

Another excellent painting Paul and well done you for that water, amazing!

A superb painting Paul , not a easy subject but you have certainly got it right.

Beautifully painted, both elephants and water.

Another really good painting Paul. It was worth the perseverance.

Oil on stretched canvas. This painting is from a photo I took whist on holiday in Botswana. This herd of elephants with adults, juveniles and calves appeared on the opposite bank of the Chobi River; truly magnificent. I’ve had several abandoned attempts at this painting but finally managed a reasonable painting (although the water took three attempts). The painting is a mix of palette knife and brush.
