Chobi River Elephants
Oil on stretched canvas. This painting is from a photo I took whist on holiday in Botswana. This herd of elephants with adults, juveniles and calves appeared on the opposite bank of the Chobi River; truly magnificent. I’ve had several abandoned attempts at this painting but finally managed a reasonable painting (although the water took three attempts). The painting is a mix of palette knife and brush.
