An excellent painting, Paul. The sky has the softness of a watercolour sky and tells us that it could rain. You've captured the power of the waves, the reflections in the wet sand and that slow creep of very shallow water over the flat sand. A triumph.

14”x10” oil on canvas board. The subject is Aberffraw beach looking across to the Snowdonia mountains. The painting was produced using both brush and palette knife and is an area which I keeping getting drawn back to.

I have sketched and painted over many years. I live on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey which is blessed with extensive coastlines and the beautiful mountains of nearby Snowdonia providing plenty of inspirational subjects .
