Midday in the Ngorongoro plain by Bob Biggart
A friend of ours went on a safari holiday to the best wildlife areas and came back with some great photos, she kindly said I could use some as reference photos for my art. This is the first one and it’s a preliminary sketch in my Moleskine watercolour book, to see if it would work for one done on proper watercolour paper. The Moleskine paper is superior to cartridge paper, but could do with being a heavier weight and the sizing improved.
