This is a cracker Bob. Love the curvey shadows on the sunlit path and the little gate inviting the viewer into the painting. Great tree shapes also.

It's almost a year since I last painted a watercolour, other than sketches on cartridge paper. But I finally managed to grab some time , and decided that I'd better practice my technique by doing a study of a Richard Thorn painting to see if I could still paint! Anyway, here it is, but the credit goes to Richard and his lovely paintings
