Hi Ruth, lovely to see your work again. I struggle with negative painting, my brain just doesn't like it:) but yours is great, very eye catching.

I end up in knots trying to accomplish negative painting Ruth. You, however have no trouble at all, a very striking and colourful image. I especially like how the darker areas pick out the forms of the leaf shapes.

Thank you Sylvia, it was great fun to do. I find negative painting has a way of evolving by itself as you go on so I find it quite relaxing too, to sort of go with the flow....
