Sheep may Safely Graze

Still painting at 91 despite vision problems. The latest of my beloved Quirkies, hopefully not the last.

Keep going Ruth, it's always a pleasure to see your work. I hate the way bits of us give up the struggle before the rest of us is ready for them to, if you see what I mean: but while you have faculties, use them or lose them is my motto. You're not far off twenty years older than I am, but my works are rusting and working loose.... and I know that if I gave up, e.g. on walking to the shops, the time would come when I just couldn't do it anymore for lack of use. So I join you in hoping that your latest Quirkie won't be your last!

Beautifully painted Ruth , let’s have some more please .

So bright and cheerful Ruth, always a pleasure to see your work x

I think those quirkie sheep with the black faces are Suffolk sheep. Suffolk sheep in our lovely Wales ?. It's great little quirky ,keep them coming

Full of joy and well said Robert ... keep them coming!

Robert, you are absolutely right. It is so easy to give up. one never knows what to expect from each new day. Thank you so much for your kind comment.

Paul, thank you for being a real support and for your lovely comment. More? Yes.

Thank you Carol. I do have fun painting these.

Thank you Coral. I will do my best.

Sylvia, you are a lovely lady. The sheep are Black Faced Mees and yes they are in my lovely Wales but they hide, the little terrors. More BFM's will be coming up. Thank you so much for your comment.

Heather, I will round up more when Shep my sheepdog wakes up!

Lovely colourful scene, Ruth, cute sheep.

A lovely quirky painting, Ruth.

I love the vibrancy and content of this painting. Lovely fluffy sheep and super blossom trees and walls. Great work.

Ruth, your wonderful painting lifts the spirits. It’s bright and bold with that touch of quirkiness….unique.

This is absolutely delightful, Ruth. I love your use of shapes and the very refreshing use of curves and lines that move the viewer's eye so well.
