A bit of camera glare, because the paint's wet: I'll get the hang of this photography business one day.

Oh Robert naughty naughty, but its lovely camera glare and all.

Robert, as soon as I saw this, just had to be one of yours! Super pig portrait in oils

completely debauched..

This is fabulous. I love the style and your sense of humour is great. I hope your friend likes it.

Yes I do like the humour in this (not enough humour in art) but what I like most is the technique - great brush strokes which give the appearance of being randomly placed but, in reality, are the product of experience and skill.

I always grin at your comments. He's a lovely pig

Hi Robert glad you like my self portrait, like i told Gudrun that look on my face in it was very very close to demented concentrating too hard! and as for Ann saying i looked serene that was the immense relief at having got it finished and posted, cheers Robert x

Absolutely love this, Robert, and the title too! That smug expression really says it all!

I painted this as a birthday card for an old friend of mine who has distinctly socialist leanings; I thought it apt...... Oil on an old cigar-box lid, about 6" by 8.5" (I like big cigars: I'd be a capitalist pig myself, if only I had the capital).
