An extremely powerful image Robert.

A nasty experience Robert and graphically told

It does look very frightening indeed and your rendition of this horrific scene brings out the destruction of the fierce flames.

A nasty experience Robert, I hope this painting has gone some way to getting it out of your system.

It certainly looks horrific, Robert, and you've conveyed the distress of the scene really well. I hope it's been cathartic for you.

I will be the first to admit that this is not a great work, but it's only now, many months after the fire which destroyed this large house just yards from where I live, that I've felt able to represent it at all. It was an horrific experience, not in any way a scenic one which I had any wish to exploit. This is drawn/painted in charcoal, oil pastel, and pastel.
