Thanks all - I do love rats: they're splendid creatures, and if I ever get rich, I shall leave my fortune to a fund to research the respiratory disease from which so many of them suffer. And then! Rats will rule the World!!!! Rats! Isn't it rather nice to have Rats? Rats up your trouser leg Rats with big toothy pegs...... You must have rats..............!!!! Ahem. No, but they are splendid. Really they are. Cuddly. Affectionate. Intelligent. Magnificent tails...... You know you're convinced!

Very cute and very funny painting! I can just imagine my own rats celebrating like this if they could! I also have to say I love your blog rat image, it's so sweet and full of character just as rats are!
