I notice there's a bit of a bar across the bottom of the picture - my faulty camera-work!

I can really feel the wind off the sea. I love these.

I like this Robert and will be trying the glaze technique you employed, I have used glazes but not over a monochrome underpainting, I thought I had better comment quickly before you are swept off the front page by a sea of ego's,Ha Ha

Very dramatic! I love your style and subjects.

A great sense of the elements in this piece. There is also a feeling of depth and light hrough the use of glazing. Nice sky!

Searched and found Mr Fox...he had better be very careful he could just be blown away.

The reason Sylvia couldn't at first find him, I suspect, is that he had tucked himself rear to windward....sensible creature...Everyone else would stand facing into the blast to admire the view....Lovely work, Robert.

Lovely atmospheric feel in this painting Robert. Same corner than a previous painting. Love it.

That sky is fabulous, and you have achieved great depth with your use of glazes.

Love the stormy sky with the wind and rain coming off the sea.

Really like the feel of this one, stormy and windswept. Love the fox sheltering in the bushes, gives it a bit more interest. Lovely.

The way you portray the undergrowth, bushes, grasses etc in your paintings fascinate and impress me. Lovely work.

All these paintings are great. This particular one interests me as you have painted it with a bit of passion and the movement .The sky captures the unsettled weather without looking ,"angry".

Another slightly older one, this time an acrylic in which I employed extensive glazing, ie painted the picture in monochrome, burnt umber and white as I recall, and then glazed transparent colour over it. Around 10" by 12". The fox cub was taken from one that appeared in the garden, transposed to a more convenient location...
