Nice hedgehog, Robert, but I don't like the way he's looking at that poor snail - who is racing away as fast as it can. Fascinating things, snails. I have made quite a study of them, as I grow hostas. Did you know that snails are homers, no point chucking them next door - they'll be back home in no time - you have to take them miles ........................

Strikes a chord with me, Robert! I don't think it's a secret that I think the hedgehog should have his dinner!

Very friendly looking hedgehog so perhaps he's only admiring the cute snail. Nice drawing Robert!

Ah snails! When we lived on the mid west coast of Wales we were plagued by snails crunching under foot, could have done with a hedge hog but there's never one around when you need one, had to resort to collecting them off the lawn every morning and dumping them half mile away, collected 75 the first morning, 82 the next day, cleared them for a while but then oh dear do they breeeed!

I love the sinister smile Robert!

great drawing, love it. Our snails live in the dry stone walls, can't get them, but the thrush can.

This really isn't a riposte to all those snail cartoons - but on the other hand, it is rather how I feel about snails....
