Love the rushing water and your strong tonal values, a beautiful scene Val.

As I said on AC love the drama in this one, also the picture is much clearer here so you can see much more movement in the water [ or I've got my right glasses on now!]

Thanks Lesley, a real compliment coming from the queen of water herself :) I enjoyed doing this one though a little disappointed it didn't materialize the same as the vision I had in my head of it. That's happening a lot just now unfortunately LOL

Thanks Debs. There is more colour in the water in the actual painting but the camera just seems to want to focus on the bright white pastel. Perhaps I should switch to learning about photography and forget painting LOL

WOW. I really like this. Besides dramatic it s3ms surreal. The colours are great.

Lol Val -you and me both, my photos never come out as clear as they should do - but don't give up the day job [ painting I mean of course!]

Inspired by a photo taken in November last year. I think there is more colour in the water in the painting but it has been far too dull ( and too bloomin cold) to get decent photo of it. That's my excuse anyway :) Thanks for taking the time to look.
