A little corner of Plockton. by Val Kenyon

I think it is very good, Val! I agree with you that it is much easier to paint reflections in watercolour!!

It’s certainly a good deal better than any of my attempts with acrylics Val, I’m useless! I know Plockton and the clear light and peace of the place is reflected in your painting. I love the way you have painted the tree’s, the darkness makes the foliage pop.

A very good painting Val with your acrylics

I'm not keen on acrylics either and give me oils anytime. Anyway, it's a lovely painting so don't be so hard on yourself

You have done this very well Val.

Thank you all for your encouraging comments, you've spurred me on to keep trying with acrylics.

Beautiful 😍

Lovely Val.

I appreciate your kind comments, thank you Faye and Denise.

Love the rich colours Val, a lovely scene. I can’t cope at all with acrylics!

Thanks Carole, nice to know I'm not the only one to struggle with acrylics.

Any tips on acrylics gratefully received, thanks.
