Thank you Spencer, David and Heather. I felt a traitor painting Giggleswick ( Yorkshire) as I was born the other side of the Pennines ( Lancashire) war of the roses and all that :)

Watercolour, with the kind permission of the photographer Philip Townsend. Tried to make the focus the tree in the middle background but I think I enlarged it a bit too much. In reality the tree is much smaller and more distant. Thanks for taking a peep.
