Like this Val - It has a sort of stained glass window effect!

You have suceeded in bringing it back. The abstract look is great. This would look brilliant printed on a large canvas.

I really like this effect. It's lovely. I know what you mean about husbands' comments ! Mine is the same ! Isn't it encouraging to get positive comments here ! I notice that you nearly binned this one. I find that when this happens I think "well I've got nothing to loose", try something different and see what happens. In your case, this really worked. It's a marvellous rescue, if it ever needed rescuing, Val! It's lovely, and like everyone else, I think the stained glass effect is just fabulous.

Ditto everyone else! Lovely stained glass look. Just photographed some snowdrops earlier and might try painting them like yours instead of how they are. Love the colours too

What a lovely lot of people you all are here on POL, thank you so much for all your encouraging comments. In future I will have a playaround with any failed paintings ( and believe me there are many) before confining them to the recycling bin. Happy painting everyone.
