Oh Val, what a charming painting! I am sure it should be sold in your exhibition... Beautiful work!

This will go down a treat Val! So fresh with wonderful reflections. Beautiful birds.

Yes it really is something: palette, composition and great reflections.

An absolute beauty Val! Good luck for the exhibition!

Yes indeed Val, a lovely palette and superb work generally.

Superb Val! Reminds me of Lisa Hoopers woodcuts in style.

A wonderful painting, with great use of greys, proving that grey isn't dull. Like this lots.

Thank you so much everyone for your lovely comments, hopefully it will sell at the exhibition as I'm running out of storage space :) Andre, it is varying mixes of paynes grey and titanium white for the background. Some people don't use paynes grey but I rather like it in oils. Fiona, I've just checked out Liz Hooper, she does some lovely woodcuts, thanks for bringing her to my attention.

Beautifully painted Val, those reflections are super. Good luck with the exhibition.

Thank you Margaret.

Exquisite work, truly breathtaking. X
