Sunlight on Spring Blossom
This was influenced by a photo I took on a glorious day just before the snow struck again and ruined all the blossom. Tried to convey, in a semi abstract way, the way the sun caught the blossom and caused dark shadows which seemed to dance in the breeze. ( Practicing being descriptive about my paintings in readiness for our local Open Studio event when I will have to talk "Art" to the visitors which I get very self concious about LOL ) This is bigger than I've done of late at 56/38cm and judging by my hubby's reaction to it I think I may have taken it a step too far.
