Definitely not a step too far if that is meant in a bad way. I think this is such a pristine and pure image that that it brings joy to the soul to see it. The blue behind the white blossom is gorgeous. Very original and artistic work.

This was influenced by a photo I took on a glorious day just before the snow struck again and ruined all the blossom. Tried to convey, in a semi abstract way, the way the sun caught the blossom and caused dark shadows which seemed to dance in the breeze. ( Practicing being descriptive about my paintings in readiness for our local Open Studio event when I will have to talk "Art" to the visitors which I get very self concious about LOL ) This is bigger than I've done of late at 56/38cm and judging by my hubby's reaction to it I think I may have taken it a step too far. C and C very welcome as I value your honest opinion. Thanks for looking.
