Beautifully done, Val. Would leave as is.

Oh no! Such disappointment Val. I think they look great without the table.

Really nice Val, I think it's great as it is...Like it

Amazing detail Val, super!

Really love the delicate colours Val, this is very special and I like it how it is, no table. Bet the coriander taste was a surprise! I used soy sauce once instead of balsamic vinegar in salad dressing, yuk so salty! 🤢

Good enough to eat....

Because you have put shadows under the fruit, it looks as if they are sitting on something and not floating, so I don’t think you need to add in the table. Lovely as it is Val. We picked the last of our apples yesterday which for once had ripened on the tree rather than dropping off!

Wonderful painting Val.

A lovely coloured pencil drawinf ... definitely finished in my view

Don’t change a thing Val this is excellent and definitely a finish painting. Don’t think the apple and coriander will take off , best not do anymore.

Great little painting Val. What a shame you used coriander. You don’t need to add anything.

They are beautiful as they are, Val. No need to paint a table. Very well done!

Well thank you all for your kind comments and I'll heed your recomendations and leave it as it is, no table. I'm glad I'm not the only one who can make silly mistakes in the kitchen Carole LOL Corriander in stewed apple is not recommended especially when you put it on your morning porridge!

Absolutely wonderful Val. Leave it as it is! As they say, less is more!

Love the textures and shine on that red one.

Scrumptious collection of apples Val, unlike how they tasted after your mistake…..lol.

Splendid piece of work. Thanks a lot for liking my latest .

Coloured pencils on Bristol Board. Another very dull day for taking a photo! Is this finished do you think or should I add the table they were sitting on? I stewed these apples with cinnamon, or so I thought, turns out I'd picked up the ground corriander by mistake. Not good!
