This is wonderful Paul. I admire your patience to attend to all the fine details.

Fabulous Paul and I know exactly what you mean - yes, have painted a horse but nowhere near as brilliantly as you.

This is superb Paul. I haven’t painted a horse and am in awe of those like you who do it well.

Excellent painting and a beautiful horse, never tried paint a horse but have done several sketch, not an easy subject.

Superb, wonderful detail.

Beautiful painting, such amazing detail. This must have taken many many hours with lots of concentrated patience and tiny nearly hairless brushes. I did paint a horse commisssion some years ago but with soft pastels.

Meet 'Fairy' whom I painted quite a while ago. Horses are such a joy to paint, with thousands of short hairs working in various purposeful directions. There are lots of layering for these details, considering the curves within the face and neck whilst maintaining the lights and darks along the way. Horses are amazing aren't they! Have you ever painted a horse? 🐴 Paul 🎨
