Excellent Paul, superb blending and control of watercolour, the only thing, if you don't mind me mentioning it, is, because this one has a background, I find the post the owl is sitting on a little disconcerting as it appears to be floating. Personally I would crop it at the base of the post but feel free to shoot me down in flames, it's probably just a bit of the green eyed monster on my part :):)

Thank you Karyl, Wendy and Sarah. Val you are correct, I must have had my nose far too close to the paper working on the detail and hadn't even noticed! I should go back to the tried and tested idea of have a break, then stand back and look with a fresh eye! I have now painted the post to the bottom of the paper and it looks much better! Thank you for pointing it out, I wouldn't have noticed until about a year down the line! LOL
