What a lovely study of your dog he looks full of life.

Hi Jeanette, she stands out well against this background. Very good quick study. Great texture.

A super little picture. The colours are great and I can feel her wirey coat. I see what you mean about not seeing her on the sand but you've managed fine here! We had a Fox and then a Welsh Terrier but now we're retired and move around a lot in the summmer it's not very practical..... a shame!

Jazza on the beach is lovely Jeanette. I could pick her up and squidge her (legs all over the place I know). I think the colours have ended up beautifully balanced, no trouble seeing her in the painting just really nicely blended.

Haven't seen Jazza in ages; it was time you did another one. Do I detect a bit of grey on her muzzle now?

Thank you all so very much for your kind comments.

This is a brilliant study of a super little dog. Love the texture of her coat and the background is excellent.

This is a quick study I did of my dog Jazza (Border Terrier) from a photo taken on the beach yesterday. Trouble is she is the same colour as the beach and she can be hard to see! Gouache and Pastel on Colorfix heavy toothed paper.
