This is delightful. Love the look in her eye, your granddaughter must love it. Never had much to do with horses and ponies, the first one I ever rode decided to take off and jump the fence into the middle of a road with me clinging to it's mane for dear life. Tends to put you off a little !! First time my daughter went riding we discovered she was allergic to them so that was the end of her equine experiences ! Love horses and ponies in paintings, especially ones as good as this, just don't ask me to get on one ! LOL

Thank you Nora and Val. Val you really made me laugh. I am not a horse person either a little scared of them! Ellie does love it - she and my sister included just love horses.

Hi Jeanette, this pony looks so cute. Very expertly done in such lovely warm hues. I love the eyes too. I'm another coward where horses are concerned, but I love to admire them from a safe distance or from a lovely picture like this one. Best wishes Carole.
