How wonderful to see you back! And how wonderful this pastel is! I specially love Lily's look, so expressive.

This is delightful. Love the look in her eye, your granddaughter must love it. Never had much to do with horses and ponies, the first one I ever rode decided to take off and jump the fence into the middle of a road with me clinging to it's mane for dear life. Tends to put you off a little !! First time my daughter went riding we discovered she was allergic to them so that was the end of her equine experiences ! Love horses and ponies in paintings, especially ones as good as this, just don't ask me to get on one ! LOL

Thank you Nora and Val. Val you really made me laugh. I am not a horse person either a little scared of them! Ellie does love it - she and my sister included just love horses.

What a lovely pony. It looks like one I had growing up. His name was mystery and he had that same devilish grin.

He's just wonderful with a naughty twinkle in his eye. My daughters would have loved this when they were younger and poney mad!
