Quick painting trying ink out.

I like the horses galloping along , I have only used ink for Chinese landscape, sorry can’t offer any advice . I do like how your not afraid to give it a go , but more importantly you don’t hide the outcome, and ask for advice .

That is most unusual!!

Love this it’s so wild! Lovely shape horses Denise.

A lively experiment Denise, works well.

Well I think it looks dramatic and striking, definitely not disappointing! I think Ann Blockley uses inks a bit with her watercolours, have got a couple of her books and they are interesting.

The two horses of the apocalypse! Nice one Denise.

I like this, Denise, it’s a bold, lively image. Keep experimenting!

Lovely Denise great experiment with the inks.

Don't be disappointed Denise it's made an interesting painting, full of movement.

I think this looks fantastic, full of life and movement. A technique worth pursuing.

Great sense of movement, like what you've done with the inks

A dramatic image that flows so well Denise. You are so brave with your experimentation. Have used inks very little so can’t give advice. They are a bit scary to use as they are so runny but this hasn’t stopped you from producing something very appealing.

Thanks for your comments, Paul, David, Carole, Fiona, Sarah, Linda, Jenny, Faye, George, Stephen, Heather and Carole. I will give inks another go at some point. Linda, your description gave me a giggle.

Spontaneous always works. It has good movement and a "wild" feel.

I like the semi-abstract nature of this piece. It gives a fresh take of the scene.

I got two pots of ink, I don't know how to use them in art but I just did this quickly because I've had them a while and just been staring at them wondering what to do. I guess I will have a read up at some point when I'm not doing other things. I used it with watercolour. It didn't work how I thought it would. I was very disappointed but that's lack of experience I know. Any opinion would be appreciated. You have to just give it a go when you are learning even when the results are disappointing. Doh
