Like it Denise, a marmite colour I believe!

Good work, Denise. It looks like glass, not always easy to do.

Excellent painting Denise the glass is superb and it shines like glass. The rose is excellent too, but out shone by the glass sadly. You cannot claim to not know how to paint now , when you produce such good work.

Nicely drawn glass Denise, the bottom ellipse needs a bit of attention. Try Payne’s grey with a touch of Indigo sometime, it spices it up even more.

I appreciate all your comments, thanks so much, Katy, Lewis, Paul, Alan and Romila. I will give the Indigo a try Alan, thanks.

Paul is right about the glass, it’s super Denise, a lovely controlled study. I can vouch for Alan’s tip ref the Indigo.

It's amazing what you can do with one colour!

This is great Denise

Really good Denise

Ha ha!! the dreaded Payne's Denise, but you have shown what the colour can achieve. Well done.

Lovely tonal work. I really like the bold and confident lines. Very nicely done.

Thanks for your very kind comments Fiona, Diane, Hilary, Heather, Linda, Seok Yam Chew and Gudrun.
