You have done a good job Denise, beautiful sky colours as well

Lovely colours and composition.

Well I love industrial scenes Denise, and you’ve done a good job here with these cooling towers. Great sky to compliment it also!

Lovely composition and colours, Denise.

Really like this Denise, great sky colours, and a good title too.

Like it a lot Denise , everything that can be said positive has been and I agree with all the comments. We don’t get that many industrial scenes , I do like the cooling towers standing out against the sky.

Beautifully captured, Denise.

Thank you all so very much for your wonderful comments, when I decided to paint cooling towers, I didn't think I would get such a great response, so, thanks again.

Brilliant sky colours, I really like the light effect of the street lamps too

Love the dichotomy of nature and industry. Great sky colours Denise.

A dramatic industrial scene - well done, Denise

Many thanks Hilary, Carole and Ronald.

I like paintings of anything out of the ordinary Denise, including cooling towers, pylons, etc. You’ve done a great job of interpreting the solidity and size of the towers.

Thanks for your kind comments Fiona.

Lovely Denise. I once painted our local gas works, alas now gone, so these memories are great. Good work.

This is very impressive Denise, and I really like unusual subjects which are not pretty! I just looked at your sketches on theForum and this is smashing.

Thanks Jim, I bet the gas works looked great. Thanks Tessa, I am glad I took up sketching on the forum, It's been helping me plan out my paintings, something I didn't do before.

A well balanced composition with interesting colours.

Thanks for your kind comments Diane.

Thanks Dennis, appreciated.

Love cooling towers, beautiful on the skyline. I sometimes pass Ratcliffe near Nottingham and find them fascinating especially in mist. This is very good Denise love the red sky!

I really like structures and I haven't really had much practice at buildings and structures, so thought I would have a practice tonight.
