An amazing result for 5 hours Denise. Couldn’t manage that length of time without several breaks. The eyes nd skin tones are particularly impressive Denise.

I do alla prima occasionally not often. I do see it as a chance to set a challenge for yourself so that is what I set out this afternoon. I found a free image and set myself 4 to 5 hours to complete a portrait. I finished it in 5 with no breaks. I guess what I achieved is fair and I do see alla prima as an important process to practice in art.
