I like this Denise , you have captured it beautifully, quite emotional at this time of year.

A superb study Denise

Well drawn Denise.

A good study Denise. Will you be doing the risen Christ for Monday as well?

Have watched this on the Forum and it's turned out really well

Thanks very much Paul, Chris, George, John and Heather. John, it would be a miracle if I completed another biro drawing for Monday. They are slow going.

A challenge then, do it in charcoal or any medium you like. I will do one in a medium of my choice.🎨🌈🚀

Well done Denise, it’s very commendable to be so willing to try new things. The result is impressive.

Well John, I can't turn down a challenge. I've got visitors coming Sunday so I'll have tomorrow to work on something and I'll post it Monday. Best of luck.

This is a tough task whatever the medium, but in biro even more so. Great job Denise.

You have done this superbly Denise.

An excellent result all round…

Thank you Denise for excepting the challenge.

Great result Denise.

Very well done Denise, a great result and you wouldn’t instantly think this is biro.

It turned out incredibly well, Denise. I'm impressed by how you created it with such a simple ballpoint pen. And what better day than today!

This is outstandingly good Denise. Great use of biro.

Very impressive the way you turn your hand to different media Denise. This is so good.

Excellent study Denise

Many thanks Lewis, Russell, Stephen, Alan, Val-Irene, Fiona, Tessa, Tanja, Martin, Carole, Christine, Carole and Romila.

Albrecht Durer original charcoal drawing from 1503 is held in The British Museum. I found it so striking I did an experimental study in biro. I've not used biro before so had to figure out the approach and shading as I went along. I really had no Idea how it would turn out. It's on the forum as a WIP.
