This is really good Denise.

Superb work Denise and beautifully done.

Really nice geometric "volumesque" image.

It's very good Denise

Thanks very much Stephen, Paul, Skylar, Heather and Christine.

A super study Denise!

Lovely work Denise

Good work Denise.

A difficult pose; the hand doesn't really work, but doubtless you know that - and that wasn't the point of the exercise of course: given your experiment was about volume and the geometry of the figure, it has succeeded in its purpose (and I know you CAN do hands!).

This is great Denise

I feel so sorry for the model. I hope she didn’t have to hold the pose for 2 hours! The light and shade really does work though. Well done!

Great effort Denis, just keep observing.

This is a sketch from a figure drawing site I have a subscription with but what I've done here, is use the model for a quick sketch. I've used a method of drawing from a book I'm reading and the chapter is about volumetric drawing, identifying and rendering geometric forms. I've left a lot of detail out but I thought it was worth putting the theory into practice. This took about 2.5 hours there about. Charcoal and Sepia pencil.
