I do not know about trying this in Acrylic, I think that you have done wonder with watercoloour. It is very striking. I like it very much.

Looks like it would have been extremely hard to do, its excellent, love it.

Really well done Diana especially using watercolour. I agree with you though regarding the acrylic, I am not saying it would be better, but painting this in acrylic would have been just as good with their wonderful transparency. Excellent work and thank you very much for your comments on my latest.

Unusual subject, nicely done. Like the background.

Hmmm.... try it in acrylic, and we'll see... this was always going to be a real problem to represent in watercolour - it's effective, but you may well be right that it could be even more so in acrylic.

The colours really sing out here. You have made the insect glow by surrounding it with the grey. Fab and a very different subject . Great

I briefly saw this yesterday when commenting on another of your works, and came back for another peek. On first look, I thought it was acrylic, so, yes, I would think it worth a try. Facinating subject, pulled off very well as it is. Fantastic light.

Attempt at a fascinating reflection. The masking fluid tore the paper in places. I think this may work better in acrylic.
