On The Beach by Michael Edwards

Great - three old codgers enjoying the sun on the promenade - how very British! Beautifully simple - lovely clear colours and that solid blue sky is very enticing - wish we saw more of them.

Light, colourful and different from your usual paintings, I like it.

Really, Michael! How did you know I was going to be there on that particular day.... I'm the old codjer in the middle, bleached from the sun! It was Lytham 1990, I think.....
