This works well Michael, I agree that the framing presents the painting very well, I always like seeing the black frames you use.

I like this - effective tones to give distance and yes I agree wih other comments about it being effectively framed with a white "mount". Also, thank you for your comment on "Haze" based on Turner as I do value your opinion. So much so that I had to look up what "seditious" meant - I had a guess and was approximately right when I checked in a dictionary! Not heard the word used before but I also admire many of Turner's dramatic works - before his time. There's nothing new in art. My husband liked the colours in Haze though commented "It will be good when it's finished". Thanks

Hi Michael, love this acrylic, lovely little landscape so you are trying new things as well! It's good for us all to do that isn't it, you might have noticed my little ACEO's , and thanks so much for your lovely comment on my dog pastel 'Leon', really pleased you like him, the original photo was so good with such stunning eye colour that it just begged to be drawn, and I am really happy that the photographer commented on the paintmyphoto site that several people had tried to paint the dog but had not managed to do a good job of it and he loves my attempt!

My second attempt at posting this one today reposting it to defeat a multi-poster - also my second attempt at acrylics - you may need to enlarge it to view it properly - painted with a palette knife - kept it simple - mounted in a 12ins by 12ins frame. good fun but still a lot to learn. Have also created two pictures from my first attempt posted the other day by cutting it in half - each also 12 by 12 glass size and they look quite good - probably beginners luck.
