Thanks Mia - I have been so busy with workshops and demos plus writing that I haven't actually had much time to paint for pleasure. Hope to wield the brush a bit more over the coming months although there is still quite a bit in the diary.

Brilliant work Michael. I'm a total lover of bygone days and this is a great example.

p.s Michael, can you ask the owner to move that motor car, the space is needed for a horse-drawn carriage. (-:

Thanks Jim. The painting was done from an old photo in which the car was included- not sure when the photo was taken but it was an old sepia one - I really do wish I'd left the car out and perhaps included a few crinolen ladies to give it life.

Excellent work, Micheal. Oddly, it reminds me of the High Street in Old Portsmouth (in bygone days, of course). Not too odd, I guess, many of these old market towns have a similar look.
