Lovely to have this on your doorstep Michael. I do like the way the gravestones are not quite straight which adds to the composition and seems to knit the scene together.

Lovely watercolour Michael

I’ve got a lovely Norman church on my doorstep Michael, I’ve painted/drawn it hundreds of times over the years, from every vantage point! Excellent sketch with detail but not excessive…

Thanks everyone - it's a 12th century chuch and has individual pews - it's a real joy with some great details in stonework, wood, and even medieval paintings discovered on the walls under the whitewash.

Thanks Rikke, Paul, Mia and Chris. Mia - it measure 18ins by 14ins including mount which is generally the standard size I paint to in my watercolours although i do work larger from time to time.
