Thanks everyone - yes I love painting skies - I used in this one: ult. blue , light red and raw sienna which are the main colours used throughout plus cobalt blue, lemon yellow and olive green.

Should have added that compositionally I could have improved things by moving the trees - certainly the central one which lines up with the church - but in doing so I would lose the integrity of the scene which is a factor when seeking local sales. Oh well you can't have it all ways !!!

Fab. Yes, if it is of a local scene artistic licence might not be appreciated by all.

I had a licence once Gudren but I can't find it anywhere.
