Thanks so much all - I've been told it looks like a dancing lady but not sure - answers on a postcard please.

Yes, this did attract me as a dancing lady Michael. So going by Derek's comments, are those your "grubby" fingerprints on her "skirt". If it is, nobody else could claim it for their own painting. Actually that's a good idea for the future - we could all press our fingerprint into a corner of our painting! Back to the painting ('cos I do wander off course at times), it is lovely.

What a great idea Adele - fingerprints and then no one could dispute its authenticity. Make life on Fake or Fortune' a lot easier.
