Nice abstract Michael, and happy new year to you.

Happy New Year Michael, a great start and look forward to seeing more of your creativity.

Another striking piece Michael, Happy New Year to you!

Another beauty Michael these are well executed

Thats a cracker Michael . Must try mountboard to paint on sometimes. Great colours and effects.

A very striking abstract, a nice and powerful start to the new year, and best wishes to you for the new year Michael.

Oh, I do like the strong contrast between the very dark and the paler surroundings, Michael! It's a smashing piece of abstract art. Very Happy and creative New Year to you!

Happy 2016, Michael! Welcome back!

I agree 100% with all the above comments about this beautiful abstract, Michael. A happy and creative new year to you too.

There's a suggestion of holly and berries here but we're leaving that now and it's on to the new. A Very Happy New Year to you too Michael!

Happy New Year...I wispered that in case your head is still a little fragile. Lovely combination of colours and shapes Michael.

Happy New Year to you too Michael, love that deep pink!

All your kind comments have cheered me up a lot but still feeling a bit shattered - isn't it funny - as you get older things seem to take longer and that 'get op and go' feeling becomes more like a 'gently move in your chair' feeling. Think I'll have another chocolate!!

Thanks Michael glad you had a good New Year!

So beautiful Michael, Have a wonderful New Year :)

Very nice abstract work, Michael.

Thanks again to you all - now to get the paints out - time to start.

Happy New Year to you too Michael. Another great abstract.

This is stunning, Michael. Beautiful palette and a superb range of tones.

Beautiful. has a gentle feel and I love the pink among the dark colours.

Oh wow! great effect with the Acrylic inks, I love the way they disperse. Did you help them or did it just happen?

Thanks all for your kind coments. Beatrice - it's a bit of both really. I use a very fine mist spray and encourage them to bleed into whatever direction I want but they do have a mind of their own - as a result the effect is spontanious within the general encouraged route I mant them to take. If that all makes sense.

Sorry for being a bit late with this but I've been away for the new year and I'm still feeling a bit fragile - now back and looking forward to clearing away all those decorations and getting back to normal Acrylic ink on mountboard.
