I works pretty well as a background too Michael. I suppose you drew or painted the sheds first and put the background on top. As you say it doesn't take long at all. I scrape the paint off the glass with a palette knife, it makes the cleaning much easier. Let's try so more!

This was an idea I also had Michael, to integrate the two styles, and it works for me, more to come now doubt.

Thanks for introducing us to this technique Michael. Fun.

It works really well, Michael. Can't wait to see more.

This is really effective, great work Michael!

I drew the subject on a piece of paper, taped the image to the underside of the glass and this showed me roughly where to apply the colours on the glass. the other medium work was added after including the penwork.

Great idea, looks good Michael.

This style certainly works wonderfully well to depict foliage and this has turned out to be a really super example of the technique and a very attractive painting.

Did you see that this dendritic painting made it onto the LP Facebook page along with the link to the YouTube video?

I missed this beauty while on holiday. Saw it on Facebook.

Again just playing around with the technique but this time as a background - certainly no masterpiece - added a bit of watercolour, some pen plus a bit of acrylic ink. As I say just a test piece which took no time at all - in fact it'll take longer clearing away and cleaning the glass. To give some idea of size if framed it would go in an 18 by 14 ins frame. Anyway I think it was worth it.
