You do some amazing portraits Marjorie and you make the whole method sound so easy….ggrrrr. I hate you for it darling…lol Love your brush strokes in anything you paint, I always enlarge and study the way they describe shape and form……excellent!

Agree with Alan, so good to see someone willing and able to paint from life. PAOTY competitors annoy me when they paint from their iPad or phone, and largely ignore the live sitter! Very good.

Valerie, Tessa and Jenny - thanks. It’s very difficult to find someone who’ll sit for any length of time. When it happens it’s such a different experience, as is painting en plein air. Maybe it’ll have to be back to the old selfie.
