Fabulous painting and light Marjorie, but hang on it’s not December yes is it? Have I snoozed through November? Only joking. It’s a super painting.

Thanks you two! Ha ha Tessa, it’s from the time we walked on the beach two years ago in December. We were with a friend and his dog Tom - this is a composite of several photos we took.

This has to be one from your very full 'top drawer' Marjorie, it's a beautiful painting. Should it work with so much sand in the foreground seeing as sand doesn't have much 'form' to work with? you've certainly made it work, the colours and textures of that soft sand are superb, I can easily envisage walking through it.

Such a gentle sunrise Marjorie. Love how the purples in the sky mirror the colour of the sand. The flash of light on the distant right is the cherry on the cake. Beautiful.
