Rocks at Howick, Northumberland

Like it a lot lovely colours. I never thought of using charcoal with pastel but why not it clearly works. Then I don’t tend to mix mediums anyway, better re think 🤔 about this.

Great combination of charcoal and pastel

What super water and spray you’ve captured here Marjorie. Very effective.

Thank you, Paul, Heather and Christine. I'm discovering my pastels again.

This is lovely Marjorie.

That is really superb Marjorie! Another great scene from Northumberland.

Love how you’ve painted the water and rocks Marjorie. A very challenging subject you have mastered so skilfully.

Water cascading over rocks, beautifully done Marjorie.

Lovely Marjorie. You’ve really captured the way the waves break over the rocks and shown the many wavelets that also appear. Great work.

Love it .Marjorie! The textures, the colours, the contrast. Well done!

Thank you all, Denise, David, Carole, Jim, Spencer and Linda!

This is a fabulous representation of water and so hard to do.

Super restricted colour scheme Marjorie. I especially like the waves nearest to the viewer.

Lovely dynamic work, Marjorie. The fact that it is mostly monochrome really sets it off and provides that feeling of drama.

Karen, Tessa and Ron, thanks, I appreciate your comments very much.

Beautiful !

Fantastic water and spray!

Thanks Janet - ready for next year!
